Drama Ministries Ensemble, DME, is a “performance group emphasizing preparation of scripts for presentation in worship services and worship-related settings.” We are an ensemble of actors who seek to bring glory to God by sharing Scripture with others in the form of storytelling theatre. We meet three times per week to read devotionals and pray, rehearse our scenes, and prepare for our upcoming performances.
The Mysteries, by Tony Harrison, is a version of the medieval English mystery plays first presented at London's National Theatre in 1977. The cycle of three plays tells the story of the Bible from the creation to the last judgment. This year we are performing “The Passion,” one of the three plays, which tells the story of Jesus’s life and crucifixion.
